Fic: Trick Or

Title: Trick Or
Pairing: Samuel/Edgar
Rating: NC-17
Warning: Slash, pr0n
Summary: Edgar draws the "treat" card, but Samuel still wins.
Disclaimer: This is Kring's sandbox, I just play here.
Notes: It's never too late for a Halloween fic. This one just happened to run away from me -it didn't stop until it'd crossed the Canadian border.

Edgar pulled to the end of the tunnel where Samuel waited, wearing a grin and his orange and black striped waistcoat, dressed in honor of the holiday. The children piled from the train cars, already grabbing their parents hands to drag them to the next attraction destination.

Samuel tipped his top hat to the smiling mothers and fathers while slipping candy to the children. "I hope you all enjoyed the ride. The Ghost Train will be closed for the rest of the evening, but please enjoy yourselves. Here be wonders yet to be discovered."

Observing, Edgar made faces at idling children, but otherwise remained quiet. His face painted white and his eyes heavily outlined with kohl, Edgar looked the part of ghoulish ghost. The children were both awed and a bit frightened and he was content to ward them off. Watching Samuel work had always been a pleasure.

"See that woman there?" Samuel pointed to Lydia, crouching to eye level with his young audience. "She'll tell your future. Will you be a firefighter? A policeman? An astronaut? Maybe you'll come to join our humble circus! She knows all."

The kids bit their lips and rocked on their heels in anticipation while their parents stood by, amusement in their eyes. With a shoo of Samuel's hands they took off running towards Lydia's open tent flap while Samuel shook hand with their retreating mothers and fathers, charming them all.

Edgar sat back in his seat, waiting his turn.

As the last adult followed their child off Samuel slid into the car behind him, his lips dancing along the shell of Edgar's ear as he drew two cards from his breast pocket.

"Trick, or treat?"

"Can't I just have both?" Edgar watched the line form at Lydia's tent. She led her first miniature client inside, a little girl dressed as a fairy princess, a whirlwind of blond curls and childish joy. She had looked at Edgar's costume with wide, wary eyes, a smart one. Her shrewd gaze marked her as advanced, far beyond her few, paltry years. Maybe she really would join them some day. Any of these children could really.

"It depends Driver, are you taking on any more fares?"

Edgar turned awkwardly in his conductors seat. Samuel looked back imploringly, his coyness an obvious ruse, but no less attractive for the deceit.

"You can pay the toll?" Edgar leered through his ghoulish makeup.

Grinning in return, Samuel slid the "Treat" card into the folds of Edgar's jacket before easing back to lounge in his seat.

As the small train started to move, Edgar followed the tracks laid down during the family's morning chores. It traced around the edge of their camp. Behind him, Samuel waved, calling out to their brothers and sisters, to their patrons and customers. He shook more hands off the side of the slow moving ride. Samuel was like a King at his parade, soaking in the attention, the graces and giving of his charisma. Everyone took greedily and Edgar continued to drive, his eyes riveted solely on the tracks.

Finally, having made the circuit, they entered the tunnel. When their merry bunch had arrived on site only days beforehand it had just been a hill. But Samuel had clapped his hands together, smiling at his family and cajoling them to stand round and lend him their strength as he pushed a hole through the hill to form their tunnel.

Packing the dirt inside flat and hard, setting up supports and decorating the earth walls had all been family chores, but Samuel's ability had managed the bulk of their work.

Realistic looking stuffed bats and cob webs hung amid live crawlers, still moving within the gutted hill of their home. A string of orange lanterns hung down the way, their only source of light.

The train cars shuffled along the tracks, rocking precariously as they turned corners and rattling when they gained speed. Edgar kept them steady as possible, though.

Inside the tunnel, hidden from the other's eyes, now surrounded by Samuel's element, the barker sat taller in the train car, his arms stretched outwards to drag his fingers through the dirt. Edgar looked back briefly, Samuel's head was thrown back, mouth slack as if in orgasm, his eye lids fluttering up at the rough ceiling.

Surrounded by earth on all sides, his hands caked in it, Samuel was a King in his castle. And as he folded himself back into the ride, wrapping his arms tight around Edgar's shoulders, his dirty fingers scrabbling through layers of clothing to lay close against bare skin, Edgar was his consort.

Releasing a long, shuddering breath, Edgar's fingers went white knuckled around the essentially useless steering wheel. He slowed their progress and leaned gratefully into Samuel's touch as if he was starved for it.

Samuel's hand slid down over his own, grasping hard at the brake. With Samuel's fingers overlaying his own, entwined now, they pulled the cart to a complete stop.

"You want your treat now?" Samuel's voice teased along his ear.

"We should hurry, those mite are still around."

"You're worried about their young eyes?" Samuel's hand at his jaw tugged so their lips could meet in an awkward kiss.

Edgar grunted, wanting to pull away. He was too proud for Samuel's teasing tonight. It was Halloween, All Hallow's Eve, practically a sacred night for their like. A night when the freaks were magnificent, even outside the protection of their safe home.

"The girl, young, a tiny cherry, sweet as a strawberry, blonde, but with a pit." Samuel eased his hands from Edgar's face back down to his chest, to the clasp of his pants.

"Lydia suspects she'll be joining us in a few short years." The barker sighed happily at the prospect of a future disciple. "She'll be able to suck the oxygen out of a room. Imagine that? Imagine the possibilities." Wiry fingers prodded Edgar's chin, forcing him to look back again.

Some of his make up had smeared against Samuel's lips, gray and smudged, he didn't seem to notice or mind. And Edgar liked the effect.

It made the danger of their trysts more visible, tangible evidence that every time he allowed Samuel to ease his hands around his cock -Edgar moaned at the sensation- he was loosing something. His freedom, maybe. Each time bound him closer as one of Samuel's faithful subject.

Always his consort, but never his prince, never his equal. Those positions were taken, Joseph saw to that.

Samuel pulled Edgar from the confines from his trousers. He was hard, leaking against his hand. Edgar touched Samuel, or tried to. He wanted to get up, find a more comfortable position. But Samuel kept him still, stroking his cock, breathing against Edgar's face in hot puffs, grinning like a mad man. A devilish, incorrigible mad man.

Edgar opened his mouth as Samuel slid up further in his seat. His words dissolved into a moan as his head lulled to Samuel's chest. Pleasure curled his toes and Edgar laced his fingers between Samuel's, moving him quicker. He nuzzled Samuel's throat, kissing and biting his skin.

Chuckling, Samuel continued to pull him off. Their fingers were hot together, slicked with sweat and dirt and precome as Edgar neared orgasm, Samuel pushing him all the way.

"Oh Edgar, so eager to please. Do you remember when you first came to us?"

Edgar opened his eyes to the orange glow of the lanterns, his hand winding back to thread through Samuel's hair. "I was a brat."

"You were an orphan, wanting a family. A boy, wanting so much to be a man."

Samuel kissed his forehead, his cheek, saying Edgar's name with such heat, such power that he spilled across his hand, gasping harshly in the cool quiet of the burrow. Wringing the pleasure from his very bones, Samuel's fingers continued to play with his cock, stroking and teasing until he was soft once more.

Edgar's racing heart beat slowed with Samuel's cheek pressed warm against his own, wiry arms wrapped around him, a hand smudged with dirt and mud, now stained with cooling come, slid beneath his shirt once more, clasping Edgar's heart beat in the palm of his hand. Owning it.

"So Edgar, do you think you've succeeded?"

Turning back, he looked into Samuel's dark eyes. "I think you have." Samuel kissed his lips, hard, demanding everything Edgar could give with the clink of his teeth. "You've become the man destiny dictated." Pressing one last, wet kiss on Edgar's cheek, Samuel slid back in his seat.

Their tryst finished, Edgar buttoned himself back up before releasing the brake. The miniature train cars lurched into movement again, carrying them out of the tunnel and back to Samuel's waiting subjects.
"You manipulated me."

Hiro's recapitulation of season 1 events seemed a little iffy to me. Then I remembered that the person speaking is not always a reliable source. My 10th grade English teacher would be proud I actually retained some knowledge from her class, even if it also falls under the category of common sense. Brain man? Mothra? Butterfly Man? What does that make Hiro? Tumor Guy?

Sylar was creepy, royally so and especially when talking to Charlie about her aneurysm. Hey, maybe he should have just gone all x-rated on her blood clot right there. He seemed to be getting a thrill from it. But as creepy as Sylar was, he was not season 1 Sylar. And season 1 Sylar would not have been satisfied with the shitty cliffnotes version of the future Hiro gave him in exchange for Charlie's life. The only moment that seemed even remotely in character was towards the end after Hiro's "Sry, you'll die alone and everyone will hate your guts. LULZ" speech when he decided he didn't give a damn, but on his black baseball cap, smirked and went off on his merry way to kill a cheerleader.

Speaking of the cheerleader, Heroes writers seem to have forgotten that by homecoming the rest of the cheersquad hated Claire. WHERE'S ZACH?

As it turns out, Noah is a drama geek which explains a lot. But unfortunately does not account for Elisabeth Rohm's presence in this episode. She's pretty, her hair's so long and blonde and shiny anddddd I really don't get the point of her. But she doesn't remember now anyways.

Noah didn't cheat on Sandra which is good because she put up with enough shit from you, Mister! Infidelity would have just been the sprinkles on the already iced cake of betrayal and lies. Besides, if he was going to cheat with anyone it would have been Claude and everybody knows it.

The way I figure it the only one that got screwed in this episode was the Haitian. I miss him.

I also think it's really cute that since Heroes writers are apparently running out of new, interesting filler, they're reverting to filler from season 1 with stock footage of Isaac and Eden. And by cute, I mean lame guys. Really lame.

Evil Butterfly Man is going down which is sad because Samuel's really been growing on me. He killed Hiro's happiness and while it was akin to watching someone kick a pug puppy, it needed to be done. And he speaks Japanese sexily. He's manipulative and self righteous and has made <strike>murderous</strike> questionable choices. Obviously he fits right in.

Also on the subject of murder; Hi Mohinder! We finally found and you! We missed you and so did Matt, you wouldn't believe who's been living in his brain and - Oh. You're dead. It's okay, I'm sure you'll be revived and well filled in a couple episodes from now. Now that Nathan's finally dead they need to stick someone else on the yo-yo ride of death. It's nothing personal, you're just to pretty to live.

Next Time on Heroes:
- PETER! PETERRRRRRRRR!

Next-Next Time on Heroes:
- Spoilers for 4x10, Brother's Keeper
- This is not going to end well, I may even cry a little. I still want to watch it like burning, though.
Tomorrow's Election Day... I may throw up.

If you'll recall, last year was a major election year. We elected the first Black president (<strike>He's mulatto, damn it</strike>). Okay, I didn't personally, but as a people we sure made our preference known in a landslide election. Pot was decriminalized in Massachusetts and chickens in California got bigger cages. It was an exciting day.

But that November 3rd, that long year ago, was also horrifying for those of us in the LGBT community (and our straight supporters). Prop 8 passed in California while Florida and Arizona passed legislation banning gay marriage. And Arkansas banned same-sex couples from adopting children. So it was an exciting day that took a quick and unexpected turn towards the traumatic.

Then when put to the state courts in May, California upheld Prop 8.

And though I'm focusing on negative out of anxiousness, good stuff happened too. Same-sex marriage was legalized in a few states, but now we've got Question 1 up in Maine. Our Yes On One Opponent Asshats hired the same consulting firm who worked Prop 8 and they're using the same tactics they did in California. They're going to teach fagdom in school and indoctrinate your children against their will! Scary! Lookout for teh gays!

So, I've gone with Mass Equality to give the No On One campaign a hand over the past two weeks and will be going again tomorrow for the Big Day. It's been a lot of fun. I met a lot of sweetheart dogs (some of them nicer than their owners) and some really lovely supporters. I was even fortunate enough to meet Gary Connor, one of the representatives that co-sponsored Maine's original marriage equality bill, and his family.

But amidst all the good times and lulz, it was easy to convince myself that we had this thing in the bag which is just not the truth. Things are far from certain and I'm palm sweating scared. Most of us are and I awoke to three messages in my inbox asking for $25K for more ads just this morning. I got one this afternoon asking for 50K more.

This is anything but a sure bet and win or lose we'll keep fighting, but wouldn't it be a beautiful boost for the movement if we could win this? If we win it will be the first time same-sex rights will have been upheld by majority rule. That would be amazing.

Though canvasing painted me a brighter picture, it also reminded me exactly what I'm fighting for. Instead of knocking on door and introducing myself as Liz Davis, yes I'm gay and yes, I deserve equal rights, I want to walk down the street, any street, and know that my equality is implied.

See you on the other side, let's hope this goes our way.

"Forbidden fruit, my favorite kind."

This episode was, by turns, ridiculous, boring and disturbing without even getting into badly lit scenes reminiscent of a Saw I-IV.

This episode made me realize what a classy guy Sylar is. Not only do the incorporeal shreds of his personality dance around the Parkman residence, teasing Matt over fucking his wife, he’s also this episode’s money shot. I’m not sure which took the cake, him sexing Janice up, or him eating an apple. Both were nearly indecent.

Matt flipped his shit, for real this time and then got smashed up drunk because hard liquor heals all ails, yes?

But even Matt’s over the top creepiness couldn’t compete with the cops from Jeremy’s bumfuck-nowhere town. Like his character in Dexter, this Jeremy died AFTER being arrested in some horribly gruesome way.

The scene was disturbing it gave me shivers and an overwhelming urge to listen to copious amounts of Billie Holiday. To me, Jeremy’s fate was sad, but as realistic as a sci-fi show can get. Last week Peter teleported from the crowded hallway of a public hospital, which was stupid –not just on Peter’s part either. And though Sheriff Clueless and Officer Hate Crime neglected to read their U.S. Constitution or its amendments, even before Jeremy’s ability was revealed, the outcome seemed more genuine to me. And wasn’t that the original premise of the show? People with extraordinary abilities trying to live and survive in the real world? The inevitability is that some wouldn’t survive and that the expendable womenfolk can’t always be the first to die.

I actually liked Tracy in this episode, though I think this was the end of any Noah/Tracy ship potential. In retrospect her crying hand was nice touch. She also doesn’t bend immediately to Samuel’s cult leader charm and instantly agree to join his freakshow opposite the fire breathing family of three.

Claire’s storyline exhausts me. I feel like I’m watching a tennis match, or maybe a ping pong game. Is she a lesbian? Is she not a lesbian? Because her telling Gretchen she’s a good kisser and that their amazingly unsexy lesbian kiss “wasn’t bad” isn’t the right way to spurn her stalker.

Claire’s friendless, I get that, deeply, personally, biblically. She doesn’t know who to trust and spent the last year waiting for government agent to break down her door. But she does not need Gretchen. She’s needs to join the Glee club or maybe the fencing team. Maybe she could get involved in student government. Claire for President: Vote Bennet or she’s go Buffy on your ass. Either way, Claire needs to take a step back from this intense and ultimately destructive relationship. A big step.

Why am I commenting so much on Claire? I don’t even like her character. Oh yeah because there was no Peter in this episode!

Samuel’s awesomeness almost made up for it. With his ability to magically appear to Specials in trouble and in states of emotional vulnerability –and oh yeah, he can move dirt, Samuel rocked the episode. Literally.

And I love his STFU reaction whenever Gabnathlar mentions more of Nathan’s memories. It’s good to know I’m not the only one fed up with Sylar/Gabnathlar’s tale of the body snatcher routine.

Next Week on Heroes:
- Hiro goes back in time and may or may not do something morally gray while being self-righteous.
- Charlie’s going to be adorable some more.
- Heroes writers are going to tarnish the pinnacle of joy, love and holy things that is Season 1.
Fic: A Rare Serious Moment

Title: A Rare Serious Moment
Pairing: Cable/Deadpool
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Slash, but no pr0n
Summary: Deadpool asks forgiveness... Kind of, with him you can never quite tell.
Disclaimer: It's Marvel's sandbox, I just play here.
Notes: Written for comment_fic.

Post coital bliss. Wade sighed happily, his body lax, but for his toes, wiggling happily beneath the sheets. The rest of his body was feeling pretty happy, too, happy, happy, happy. His yellow boxes were definitely happy, making all sorts of cheerful, sated sighing noises that Wade's own mouth couldn't possibly be emulating.

But beside him, Deadpool could hear the gears starting to turn in Cable's head and could predict the hiss as steam started blowing out his ears.

He turned onto his side, feeling slightly squishy and well used. "Hey, remember that time I shot at you?"

"Just the one?" Cable raised an amused eyebrow.

"Ookay, remember all the times I shot at you? Attempted to blow you up or otherwise demolish your smug, self righteous ass?"

"Successful or just attempted?" Nate asked, looking more and more smug, self-righteous and amused with every word.

Wade gnashed his teeth, this conversation wasn't going as easily as he'd hoped. But when did Nate ever make anything easy? "D. All of the above."

"Yes, Wade, I remember. One doesn't easily forget picking buckshot out of their own forehead."

"Right." Wade scrubbed a hand over the back of head before pulling himself into a sitting position. Nate looked up at him, all huge muscles, technorganic mesh and soft facial features, his hair sticking up in odd tufts where Wade had pulled it a little too hard.

Wade's heart melted around the edges, almost as much as it had when Bea Arthur had accepted her last TV Land award.

"Wade? You still with me?" Nate prodded, his hand landing casually on Wade's thigh, as though this were a natural position for them both.

"All that stuff? It's all in the past... right?"

Nate smiled, even chuckled a little. Wade would have been offended if given half the chance. He was trying to indulge a rare serious moment and all Nate could do was giggle like Miley Cyrus in one of her shitty video blogs up on Youtube. But before he hand the chance to work up a real lather Nate grabbed his arm, pulling him flat to the mattress once more.

"Yes, Wade, I forgive you."

Nate kissed him, making a deep purring noise in the back of his throat. When they finally pulled apart Nate no longer looked like he was about to over think or say anything stupid, but Wade had the feeling he'd forgotten about something...

"Hey, wait. Aren't you going to apologize for all the time you shot at me, or lied or made some sort of dastardly plan behind my back?"

Nate's fingers plucked at his nipples before moving downward, kissing the sharp edge of Wade's jaw. "We'll talk about it later. Much later."
Writer's Block: Yes, offense taken (Except Not)

If a friend or relative makes a racist or homophobic remark, do you tend to confront them or let it slide? Are you more likely to confront them if it offends you directly or someone else who seems reluctant to speak up?

View 1554 Answers

As much as I enjoy standing up for what I believe in and shoving my semi-obnoxious liberalism in other people's faces, if I popped a blood vessel every time somebody I know made a racist or homophobic remark that's all I'd ever do (and it would probably result in my demise). I'm queer, I'm mulatto and my friends and relatives know how I feel about their bullshit. There are also these things called "jokes", some people make them.

But a stranger making racist and homophobic remarks is a whole different ballgame.

"Don't just stand there, get a mop."

Peter! I love you, you idiot!

Peter was adorable the entire episode. His little half smiles and lip biting reawakened some long buried ship potential between him and Hiro. Together they were adorable and totally self righteous. It's amazing their combined hero complexes haven't destroyed the worl-... Oh, wait.

He kind of broke my heart a little bit when he insisted his life was fine. Sure, Peter's life is great aside from his serial killer-esque wall of accident reports and his fucking brother.

Speaking of his brother. "Call me Nathan." I'm sorry, what was that? Be kind, rewind. Because Sylar now has the ability to chat up a woman without it ending in her untimely and gruesome demise and remembers shaking a lot of hands through his convenient clairsentience power, he thinks he's Nathan? I'm sorry writers, but no. Hell to the no. Instead I will call him Gabnathlar.

When Hiro's talking to Emma about her powers he kind of sounds like he's giving an informational talk on the joys of puberty. "Manifesting a power is a wonderful time", "A new ability might be frightening, but you must not turn away from it." I think Hiro's been reading too many parenting books.

I love that Emma does not buy this shit. She just rolls her eyes at the whole thing until Hiro employs the most diabolical weapon a man can use against a stubborn woman. Cue the cute, clapping children! That fascist, Japanese bastard! Of course it kicks Emma right in the ovaries and possibly the brain and all of a sudden she agrees with everything Hiro says! It's only natural, of course. His speechifying is no long annoying, it's endearing and deep, it's touching and she must hang. on. every. word.

Meanwhile Peter is off attempting to fix things, all while being ridiculously good looking and Heroes writers try to rationalize some shit. They can't use Claire's blood to heal Hiro because the regenerative property would just accelerate the growth of the tumor, or something. WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO DEADPOOL! He had cancer, was given Wolverine's healing ability and is now covered in tumors because the regenerative powers also affects the cancer it was supposed to get rid of. So now he's constantly regenerating to keep the super cancer away and will never die. Obviously the moral of this story is that Heroes writers should stop trying to rationalize or explain their mistakes, that ship sailed long ago, because if they do they'll end up stealing more from Marvel than just their entire premise.

So, with the healing thing, I saw that Mark Young would be on Heroes tonight and got wicked excited, though srsly? Now they're not just stealing Dexter's addiction support group storyline, they're stealing the characters, too? But it got worse because his name was still JEREMY. Recycling the name of his character is just too much. But as I watched I could just smell the crossover and wondered which older, morally gray, male figure Jeremy would attach himself to in the search for a mentor. Who would he offer to blow in the bushes this time? Peter? I mean, he did shoot the guy. But, no. Noah soon emerged as a better candidate, if only for his own emerging hero complex. Noah/Jeremy, I ship it (don't hate).

Back with the Carnies, the family that slays together, stays together. Gabnathlar's mugshot is hilarious and it looks as though he took Peter's emo bangs and glued them on over his own hair, lulz. He killed his mom and relived it in surround sound while taking a spin through The Worst Fun House Evah. And then had sexy tiems with Lydia <strike>while Edgar and Samuel watched</strike> and was baptized into the Carnie Clan.

Overall this episode was fine. It only lacked one thing, okay maybe two: Our darling Pasdar and Mr. Muggles. These are needs that must be met Heroes writers, take note.

Next time on Heroes:
- Janice gets some. With whom I'm not quite sure.
- Gabnathlar's extended identity crisis continues.
- Invisigirl (Claude and Noah's illegitimate lovechild) attempts to kill Gretchen and some uncomfortable, one sided sexual tension happens.
- Matt continues to be a confused douche bag.
- Charlieeeeee?

"Obama, Obama! Let Mama Marry Mama!"

Blogging about the march seems like cheapening the experience somehow. I can't portray the energy, the power, so why try, right? But regardless of this ineptitude, I'll give it a shot.

Sunday morning dawned cloudy and cold as my Join the Impact companions and I boarded the Metro for D.C. Rag tag and grassroots, the National Equality March was meant as a show of force unconnected and largely unsupported by "mainstream" LGBT rights organizations and though the march was hardly the be all, end all of our movement, it was definitely a positive start to a new era.

Speakers ranged from Cleve Jones, Judy Shepard, and Julian Bond to Lady Gaga. They were eloquent, their words ruckus raising and fucking empowering.

Participants represented the rainbow in more ways than just hair color. Straight people, gay people, and transgendered people were all widely represented. All races and ethnic groups, socialists, communists and parents.

I walked around in my socks on Captiol Hill, listened to David Mixner draw on his decades of experience in advocacy for gay rights and Kate Clinton joke her way to how we all feel, tired of homophobia.

I don't believe in marriage, not really. The concept is lost on me. I certainly don't want to join the military. But those are my choices and my beliefs that not all LGBT people share and shouldn't have to. Some people want marriage, and to fight for their country and they deserve that right. We deserve equality.

And just because we want justice and are willing to fight for it, to push Obama and rally for our rights, doesn't make us naive. It doesn't make up leftist wing nuts and it doesn't give anyone carte blanche to dismiss us or our message. It makes me proud to be a part of this community and proud to have been a part of this march.

Some photos and speeches
C-SPAN's full coverage

Heroes 4x04, Acceptance

So previously on Heroes, viewers learned that a strange man answering Sandra's phone is comparable to Peter and (Sylar!)Nathan's <strike>marital</strike> trust and avoidance issues.

Tracy's story line is interesting, I guess. But I've got to say thanks, but no thanks to her gratuitously half naked body. That's what we have Lydia for now. Bad ass tattoos > Platinum blonde hair.

I'd like to know just what was going through Mama Petrelli's head during this episode. "Sylar!Nathan is having an identity crisis, so let's pull him from the brink of sociopathic insanity by reminding him that he killed his girlfriend." BAD PLAN.

Speaking of Nathan's dead girlfriend, I kind of pictured him being a more suave, even as a teenager. Teen!Nathan shouldn't need to chase girls around on deceptively stable looking diving boards only to have them crack their heads open and bleed out in the pool. He should be charming them out of their bathing suits with ease.

Instead of sex, though, he gets a memory wipe and Mama Petrelli gets to throw another body into the mass grave of Petrelli family victims. Millie was a total BAMF, though and now I kind of ship her and Angela if only because of their intense I-will-eat-you-for-lunch-and-then-ask-for-seconds staring contests.

I pulled a muscle doing the one person wave when Nathan and Peter hugged. I then proceeded to roll around in their sexual tension like a pig in mud and attempted to ignore their dialogue. Srsly, Peter? WTF is wrong with you? All you wanted for the first 2 1/2 season of this show was for Nathan to open up, Nathan to talk to you, Nathan to relate with you on the psychopathic craziness of your family, Nathan to acknowledge his powers. And now that he's doing it you're all "Meh" and spouting bull about psychometrics (further proof that he's got Mohinder tied up in his otherwise empty closet)? I ask again Peter, wtf is wrong with you? Playing hard to get is not a good look on you. Go back to being desperate for Nathan's attention and approval so that when you figure out what really happened to him, you'll care and Heroes can't write off the intensity of your former relationship as a figment of the collective fangirl imagination.

The words "My mess, I'll clean it up." Is Nathan's version of a suicide note, never a good sign. Hey Peter, how about you do the smart, in character thing and GO AFTER HIM.

Speaking of suicide, Hiro attempts to save some random guy 47 times. Because random guy photocopied his butt on the company dime 47 times. I bet they have support groups for that kind of thing.

In the land of Carnies, Samuel is creeping around looking a little unstable. Edgar doesn't want any new siblings, or Peter as competition for most slash potential with Samuel et al. Boo hoo, Edgar, boo hoo. The Carnie scenes seemed really rushed and badly timed to me (except for Samuel's use of the word "dissatisfied") and did not induce feelings of care.

While discussing his dead girlfriend and Angela's shoveling habits, Sylar!Nathan says, "I'm just waiting for the part that makes any of this okay."

And really, I'm right there with you Sylar!Nathan, though things are starting to look up, right? Or so I tentatively hope, while watching through my fingers.

Lastly I'd like to point out that if you slow the meter of the Adam's Family theme song "Petrelli family" fits in there quite nicely.

Last night Jon Stewart addressed Obama's lack of action on Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
"I was liberated, I could be filthy."

Homework is so passe, I'd rather analyze Heroes to death.

So, the character assassinations of both Sylar and Matt Parkman are moving along smoothly. Sylar's a killer, Matt's a cop (sounds like the tag line for a new buddy cop spin off). Put it together and what do you get? Cop killer? Nah, just Matt the eery mind rapist and Sylar talking through a stuffed rabbit.

Their story line reeks of Fight Club. Tyler Durden/The Narrator. Next thing you know Matt will be opening fire on nitroglycerin and shooting himself in the cheek. Likewise Sylar will start wearing red leather and chain smoking.

Matt spent his big FBI break of season 1 trailing after Sylar via his slew of dead and brainless victims! Sylar's taken down bigger men than Matt (coughArthur?cough) and Matt should be freaking terrified, knee knocking, pants pissing scared. Instead he's just being a dick.

Claire and Gretchen were one big eye roll for me this episode. Curry is not that weird looking and is freaking delicious. I would eat curry with Noah Bennet any day. And after a night spent talking about real lesbianism (including my own) and real eating disorders (including my own) I was kind of unimpressed with Gretchen's admission. I was even less impressed with Claire's reaction. Gretchen was trying to relate to her by way of personal experience and Claire was just like "Whoa, that's lulzy. But anywho, my life has been a series of complex disasters." Because her life started at age 16, doncha know.

I can picture their relationship ending badly, especially now that Gretchen knows about Claire's ability. My guess is we get one quick lip lock at most then the rest of the season spent with Claire's hysterical hetero panic (and needing Bennet to clean up the backlash of her exposed ability). Cause she's totally had crushes on guy before (Zach, <strike>Elle</strike>, West, <strike>Peter</strike>, Alex (that guy that looked like Peter when wet and half naked), <strike>Nathan</strike>).

Still love Peter. He's on the road back to becoming the emotionally unstable, naive wreck we knew and loved back in season 1. I'm really enjoying his story line. And Hesam, I really enjoy him too. His little lover's spat with Peter was gold. Before stomping off I half expect him to add "And when we fuck you never stay the night!" Poor Hesam feels used. But at the end they walk side by side at the sinkhole site <3.

I have little to say about Emma other than "Oooo, pretty power", "Yay! She made Peter smile!" and "I hope Heroes doesn't kill her in some cruel and horrible way."

Samuel was wicked subtle with his need for EMPATHY. He has so much chemistry with Lydia and Edgar. Speaking of Lydia, a few words. A woman who can tie a proper windsor knot is a sexy sight indeed. By anyways, Samuel's got chemistry with his fellow Carnies, Peter's got chemistry with everyone and everything. Combined they have chemistry together and should get filthy together by way of sexy tiems.

Samuel's starting to grow on me, even though the line, "Have you ever lost a brother?" was ridiculously UNCOOL. He did rough up some rich people. Honestly, it's not like he even wanted to go into the mansion or interrupt the dinner party. He wanted to go around the back of the carriage house to mourn for his dead brother! Have some empathy, woman! <strike>Or die.</strike>

So overall not a total bust, but definitely not my favorite episode.

Oh and by the way, Mohinder and Lyle have both been mentioned once.

Mohinder 1
Lyle 1

This game has no winners.

A little off center, and I'm out of tune.

After a suckass night playing Insomniac Jack's tired tune the fire alarm went off at 7:30 a.m. -or 7:40 depending on who you ask. I'm taking it as proof that god hates fags. Actually just me and the other couple thousand people in my dorm and by god I really mean this chick's microwave that exploded on the second floor. But you know what still loves me? Coffee and that's all that really matters. And free used books (I love my job), those matter too.

Also! I bought my bus ticket from Join the Impact (MA branch) to go down to Washington D.C. for the equality march next week. I then proceeded to almost pee my pants and jump around in excitement because, yeah, sanity lives here.

Heroes, Heroes, Heroes

I figured I should probably write up my feelings on Heroes 4x01-4x02 before the next episode comes out and this weird hour long break between lectures seemed like the opportune time. It's not like I was going to go to Student Health Services or do anything that a health conscious, responsible sick person would :s.

So that falling montages at the start was awesome. I love remembering the good old days of season one. You know, back when the show was respectable and well written. Way back when.

Did anyone notice that Ted from Queer as Folk was the linear algebra professor and that he was reading Pride and Prejudice and Zobies!!! There was just so much win packed into that one shot the episode could have ended right there and I would have been happy.

Turns out I still love Peter. I'm a little concerned about his wall of newspaper cut outs. The shows that usually feature creepy collages like that are Law and Order and Criminal Minds, so excuse me if I don't take it as a positive sign. I feel like them distancing Peter from his family is totally a set up so that when he finally finds out about the Sylar!Nathan mindfuck mess he won't flip his shit and the writers can just shrug it off as them no longer being close anyways. That is not okay. If it goes down that way I'll flip my shit for him (as if I didn't for a month straight after 3x25). But overall I really like Peter and what they're doing with his story line now. I think seeing him acting like a rational, competent human being with a brain.

Also, Hesam totally has a crush on Peter which I, in turn, totally support. He's so normal and nice and he worries after Peter and lounges in the locker room watching Peter change as if he was in a strip club. Like I said, nothing but support.

I really don't care about Hiro at all. His death would hold no meaning for me. I guess I'm glad Ando's getting some ass, but I'm mostly sad that Kimiko may now loose everything that made her a respectable character in favor of becoming "the love interest". -Sigh-

Matt the mind rapist makes my stomach turn. I really, deeply dislike him, but because Sylar is now dwelling in his mind I find him markedly more interesting. Matt's relationship with his wife is horrible. She deserves better, their son deserves better. His jealousy and insecurity is actually kind of disturbing. Honestly, he's threatened by the waterboy (who was played by Wes Ramsey who also played Wyatt in Charmed and some flamboyantly gay guy in Latter Days, back when his hair wasn't quite so freaking long)???

Both the Haitian and Sandra were in the episode. My two favorite minor character. If they'd thrown Lyle in too I would have suspected the hand of Santa Claus.

I really liked the episode. Even the promotional plug for the clam chowder. Peter gave both Hesam and Noah some (BTW, these episodes made me start shipping Noah/Peter, don't hate).

P.S.: Peter is keeping Mohinder locked up in his otherwise empty closet, right?

The Awesome Sauce of Life

Muse's new album, The Resistance, is gold. Seriously, this is my fifth listen so far tonight and I'm still struck by how ridiculously good it is. I'm not a Muse fanboy, I swear, I'm just enthusiastic. It's not my fault they bleed awesome.

I just hope against hope with fingers <strike>and legs</strike> crossed that it doesn't take another two years for them to release the next album -not that I won't love them all the more in anticipation.

Also just released, from the publishers who brought us Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I've got nothing against the real works of Jane Austen, honest, but these parodies are just too good to pass up in the name of good taste.

<lj-embed id="18" />

Oh life, with your shoulders in the mirror.

I've been at school for a little over a week now and feel as though I never left. Seriously? What is this shit? I was on break for three months! I was supposed to relax, unwind, mellow out. Obviously I did a horrible job because death seems eminent. Spontaneous human combustion, it happens. Stressed doesn't really describe it. No holds barred, I really am a horrible student.

But even with this markedly unhealthy sensation I still feel better than I did at home. Just now am I realizing how depressed I got and I'm a little surprised that a) not many people noticed, certainly not my family and that b) I didn't do anything drastic about it. And fyi, by "drastic" I mean "go on anti-depressant", which I've only just started considering anyways.

On a brighter, more fandom related note I come bearing a fantastic fanvid not of my own making:

<lj-embed id="17" />
Politics In Space - Star Trek XI from KittySorceress on Vimeo.

Made by xx_sorceress_xx and posted in her journal over yonder.
That's a bingo!

I think it's time to go back to school. Even my therapist agreed that I'm prepared to the point of chomping on the bit. My biggest worry is that when I get back to Boston I may not have a job which is distressing, but hardly the end of the world. I've even come to terms the fact that my schedule looks like something Picasso would have painted and that BU overcharges for all their custom textbooks. I'm just ready to not be here anymore. I want my independence back, even if that means being broke and unemployed.

It was pure Quentin Tarantino all the way and I was surprised (which in hindsight, was stupid) that he decided to literally change history. EVERYONE DIES! Okay, almost everyone and we get to watch Hitler get cut to bits under heavy gun fire as 300 of his closest Nazi pals are burned to death alive.

And if that's not enough to trigger a spontaneous orgasm, Hugo Stiglitz (Til Schweiger) gets whipped and has this really tense Mexican standoff scene where he and this Nazi threaten to shoot each other's balls off. Um... <strike>UNF</strike> YAY! I may be a dyke, but the allure of male/male violence is not lost on me.

I burst out laughing every Donny (Eli Roth) scene, it was really just a spontaneous reaction. Also, Brad Pitt was great as Aldo Raines and I would like him to talk Italian to me. Every scene they had together I couldn't help but wonder about all the dirtywronghotwe'reinawarsoliderdesperate!sex they must have had. 'Cause yeah...

I fell in love with Shosanna (Mélanie Laurent) immediately. She's the true hero of this film and as a typical Tarantino style heroine she kicked ass and took names. She was also the human aspect of this film. The Basterds were amazing, but brutal. Christoph Waltz's part as Colonel Landa was simultaneously humorous and creepsome. Bridget Von Hammersmark was classy and capable, but her time spent before the audience was short lived and personally I didn't have the time to care about her. Among all these other characters, giving me whiplash with this fast action and witty dialogue, Shosanna's really the only sympathetic character that I really got attached to.

As far as I can tell she's also the only character outside of the German army take control over the situation. The Basterds reacted, while she just acted. Plus anyone who can shoot down Nazi war heroes like it's in their job description holds a special place in my heart.

And isn't that really what this film was about in the end? Shooting Nazis? Getting revenge. If you ever sat in History class listening to your professor talk about Nazis and felt truly outraged (doesn't that describe everyone) then this is a film for you!

I don't care what they say. London Fog is a great name.

Word on the street is they're going to make a reboot of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. Since I've actually reread some of the books this summer and rewatched the films already in existence I'm having a hard time picturing Robert Downey Jr. as Lestat. Don't get me wrong, I love him as an actor (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, yeah?), but I just can't see it yet. So I'm reserving judgement -positive or otherwise- until I hear who's playing Louis. You can't have a proper Vampire Chronicles film without Louis and all of his gorgeous angst (and yes, that's my way of saying Queen of the Damned: Epic Vampire Movie Failwhale did not count).

Sal, the company closet queer, almost got some! I was literally cheering at the t.v, and am pretty sure he was damned close to coming in his pants, but then the hotel's fire alarm started to ring and both Sal and Anonymous Bellhop had to vacate the building. In the process Sal accidentally came out to ultimate-uberheterosexual Don Draper.

The way I chose to interpret the scene, Don was surprised and disgusted in turns. Come on, this show is set in the 60s and for all his adulterous, manwhoring ways Don doesn't strike me as being particularly sexually progressive. I don't think he approves of Sal's sexuality, but as they stand outside watching the hotel fire, he realizes that he's in no position to be making accusations since he had just been fucking around on his pregnant wife. He doesn't have to like Sal's sexual orientation, he doesn't have to condone it, but he can't let his own personal feelings cost him a business asset. In their transitioning business environment, where a big chunk of staff has been let go, Don's willing to stick with the devil he knows, even if that devil happens to be queer.

Overall I really liked the episode. Though I think that this season Joan needs to dump her rapist fiance and that Peggy needs more screen time, even if it's just pan shots of her sitting in Don's former office.

Through some Itunes or AMC glitch the next Mad Men episode popped up earlier tonight. Personally I'm willing to hold out until Sunday. Anticipation only adds to the sense of dramatic suspense, Captain Kirk taught me that.

Lovely girl, you're the murder in my world.

G.I. Joe:

Okay I have to admit the plot, the character development and gender implications didn't bother me so as the very concept of Duke/Baroness. She had been a real villain! By choice! No mind rape necessary, also SHE BELONGS WITH DESTRO. What the fuck was all the mind alteration about anyways? Nanobots melted her free will? In what possible way does that make any sense?

At least they gave her a pair of glasses. And Christopher Eccleston was awesome and weirdly sexy (per usual). So was it a total flop?

In real life on Thursday, I talked to my dear old Daddy for that first time in months, while in therapy no less. He was thrilled to hear for me (I guess he forgot it was his decision to break communication in the first place), but not quite as thrilled to hear that I was having issues with my insurance (the reason for my impromptu call) or that I had enough other issues to warrant therapy at all.

I haven't even called him back yet. I should, really (since I'm the one that hung up on him this time). I'm exhausted just thinking about his bullshit. But what's that they say about family being the most important thing?

Fic: The Cat and the Canary

Title: The Cat and The Canary
Pairing: Adam/Peter, Nathan&Peter (in a plutonic way)
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: Slash, but that's a given.
Summary: Historical AU. Adam is a bandit and Peter is his prize.
Disclaimer: This is NBC/Kring’s sandbox, I just make dunes here.
Notes: Written for rounds_of_kink round 11.

The entire house had been ordered to assemble. The servants stood in line, fidgeting and anxious while the Petrelli family stood at the head, with the exception of young Master Peter.

Upon descending the stairs, Peter had been pushed back into the fray to stand among the kitchen workers. His current attire was poor enough to pass, and Nathan had pressed a stern finger to his lips, a plea for silence and compliance for once in Peter’s life.

A group of men, rough and ragged, faced them all. Peter stood on his toes in his fight for a better view. He could see the glint of silver daggers and pistols and the smell of spent gunpowder lay coarse beneath the predominant stench of sweat, dirt and stress.

The men wore masks, just scraps of cloth really, to cover the top halves of their faces.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, sorry for the inconvenience, but you are under attack. My men are upstairs, stripping the bedrooms of valuables, we had to get you out of the way.” The blond man’s voice was almost conversational.

An educated outlaw. His words were cultured, unexpectedly so. Peter watched from afar as the line of Arthur’s back stiffened.

“Lord and Lady Petrelli?” The Outlaw opened a sack and held it towards Peter’s parents.

“Damned hellion!” Arthur’s words were gruff and loud. Peter suspected he didn’t know any other way to speak, not even in an emergency.

The Outlaw just shook the bag while one of his compatriots pistol-whipped Arthur with the butt of his gun. “We all have our parts to play in this grand world.”

Peter could picture the purse of Angela’s lips as her jewels dropped heavy in the sack. Arthur, now holding his bruised jaw, dropped in a pull bag of coins.

Finally, the Outlaw turned towards where Nathan stood silent and tall. Peter’s heart dropped a beat and he swallowed thick in his throat.

“As I recall, you have two sons, Lord Petrelli. Holding out on me?”

Arthur opened his mouth, but Nathan’s glare snapped around quick to stifle any telling words. A brother’s love, especially that between Nathan and Peter, was not something even their parents wished to trifle in.

“Ah, so you are hiding a brother then?” The Outlaw’s smile was wide and smug.

Peter could clearly imagine Nathan’s expression of contempt without even seeing his face.

“And what would draw out this mysterious other brother?” The cocking of the Outlaws pistol seemed to echo loud in the room.

Movement stilled as the muzzle of the gun pushed hard against Arthur’s forehead.

Peter breathed hard through his nose as he bit his lip bloodless.

“No? Then how about this?” The pistol swung to Nathan.

Unable to restrain himself, Peter broke with the line and rushed towards the front of the room. Before he could make it to his brother’s side the Outlaw’s fellow bandits had him by the arms.

Even though he struggled, Peter was no match for their strength and was dragged the rest of the way to the head of the room.

Arthur’s eyes blazed at him with rage and anger, Angela looked at the floor.

“Na-“

One of the brigands moved to backhand Peter across the mouth, but the arm stilled before the blow.

The blond outlaw had intercepted and dropped his gun from Nathan’s head.

“You’re the other brother then?”

The bandits wrestled Peter still as the cold metal mouth of the pistol ran down the length of his cheek, making him shiver.

“Yes.” Confirmation hissed out from between Peter’s clenched teeth.

Fingers replaced the gun, fostering the warmth unfurling low in Peter’s gut as dangerous blue eyes focused solely on him.

“Young Lord Petrelli. Do you go by any other name?” The Outlaw cupped Peter’s cheek and seemed to draw him ever closer.

Nathan gave a strangled sound from behind the Outlaw, he too had fought and was now held stationary by multiple bandits. His arms were behind him, caught in a secure lock and his knees were forcibly buckled, leaving Nathan unable to defend himself or his brother.

“You know, Young Lord Petrelli, it would be easy for my men to cause your brother a great deal of pain. I believe they would start by dislocating his shoulder. They’re a rambunctious lot.”

“Pl-“ The words caught in his throat as he strained away from his bandit captors and towards his brother. “Please let him go.”

“Tell me your name?”

Peter nodded and bit his lips. He knew his cheeks colored pink. “Peter.”

“Thank you for the honor, Peter.”

His flushed brighter but looked up at the rough sounds of Nathan being released. Just as Peter was about to breath a sigh of relief, an outlaw punched him across the face. Unsteady on his feet, Nathan fell to the ground.

Both Arthur and Angela moved as one in his aid, a united front that they had failed to present on Peter’s behalf. The gesture, or lack thereof was not lost on the Outlaw. He looked at Peter with an expression akin to pity.

“Leave him.” The Outlaw’s words were short and curt, the other bandits fell from Nathan’s sides. “My men are unpredictable, but easily controlled. They will listen to what I say. Peter, what would you give me to leave this place and never bother your brother again.”

“Anything.” Peter’s word was a whisper, but the Outlaw heard.

He nodded solemnly. “You would come with me?”

“Barbarian.” Nathan hissed from his position on the floor. But it was Angela that held him back.

“Hardly. You’re brother and I are in the midst of a business arrangement, please don’t interrupt.” Blue eyes glinted with partially smothered amusement and danger, making Peter feel warm again.

Peter straightened his shoulder, much as he was able and tilted his chin with an air of confidence he didn’t feel, to look the Outlaw in the eye as he nodded his assent. “Anything.”

The Outlaw grinned; the cat had caught the canary. “Let him go.”

The restrictive arms of the Outlaw’s fellow bandits drop from around Peter and were replaced by the single one. The Outlaw’s arm fit around the small of Peter’s back to rest a wide hand on his hip.

Peter would have protested the Outlaw’s forwardness had it been any other man, under any other circumstances.

Instead he looked imploringly at Nathan, willing him to understand the choice Peter had just made.

It had everything to do with his brother’s safety.

As the Outlaw spoke to his fellow bandits about tapestries and jewels, travel, Peter concentrated on Nathan, and -however vaguely- on the pad of the Outlaw’s thumb, circling the point of his hip.

The warmth in his stomach furled outwards, arousing him, even as he silently pleaded for Nathan’s comprehension.

“Say your goodbyes, Peter. Quickly, your father is getting agitated.”

The Outlaw was slow to withdraw his arm from around Peter and the youngest Petrelli could feel the heavy blue gaze at his back as he took measured steps towards Nathan.

Standing again, Nathan wrapped his arms tight around Peter. “Why, Pete?”

Peter sniffled against his neck, shrugging away Arthur and Angela’s awkward attempts to pat his shoulder in a comforting manner.

“I love you, Nate.”

Nathan pet one last hand down Peter’s brown locks before pressing a hard kiss to his forehead. “Why couldn’t you have stayed in the back?”

Peter kissed him back, briefly on the lips before going to back the waiting Outlaw.

“We have to leave.”

Nodding weakly, Peter tried to hold his head high but couldn’t help the silent tears that welled up in his eyes.

“Will I be able to visit?”

The Outlaw looked at him as they left Grand Petrelli Manor for a group of horses and a carriage loaded high with the wealth of Peter’s family.

“Perhaps.” The Outlaw’s arm was comforting. Peter knew it would be better to shove him away now, but didn’t dare. This was the man who had just removed Peter from his home, not someone who should be so thoroughly soothing. And yet Peter still couldn’t bring himself to push the Outlaw away.

The Outlaw tossed his sack into the carriage along with the other Petrelli treasures before climbing in himself and motioning for Peter to follow.

Pointing to the floor of the carriage, the Outlaw seated himself and tugged away his mask.

“You want me to kneel? Before you?” Peter had never given much stock to his own social standing, but he was respectable, and respectable lads did not go around kneeling at the feet of bandits, not matter how much they wished to do so.

“Yes, Peter.”

Biting his lip, Peter shuffled to the floor.

“Closer, Peter. Don’t be facetious.”

Peter obeyed, drawing closer and closer until his was fairly curled around the Outlaw’s feet, the heel of his boot pressing firm against the inside of Peter’s thigh. And a strong hand came to rest on his head, petting him almost absently.

When the carriage lurched into sudden action, Peter was pushed even tighter against the Outlaw’s feet and he had to bite back a whimper.

“I knew your father.” The Outlaw said after a long moment of nothing but the sound of horses and the gravel beneath their wheels as company. “He and I used to delegate business matters for his practice in the town. The last time I saw you, you were but an infant.”

Peter set his chin on the Outlaw’s knee and looked up into startlingly blue eyes. “What happened?”

“Arthur decided he didn’t like my business tactics. He ruined me, Peter. I went to his home tonight to return the favor and exact my revenge.”

Curling himself into an impossibly smaller ball around the Outlaw’s feet, Peter nuzzled into the proffered hand without even a thought, but turned his face away to hide his flush of shame that followed only seconds after the impulsive action. “I’m sorry for what he did to you.”

“Man is capable of terrible things, Peter.” The Outlaw tipped his face so that blue met hazel eyes yet again. “I saw how your parents treated you. I had to take you away from that. They are vindictive people and would have ruined you given time.”

Peter wanted to turn away once more and refuse the Outlaw’s words, but could not. His tongue swelled in his mouth and tears made his vision swim.

“You, dear Peter, are beautiful in body and soul. The likes of the Petrellis would have sought to corrupt you. I refuse to leave beauty to those unable to appreciate, those willing to tarnish.”

“And you can appreciate it?” Peter’s voice sounded hopeful where he had been trying for confident.

Blue eyes bored in Peter’s own, the intensity made him shiver. “Yes Peter, and more.”

The pad of the Outlaw’s thumb ran over Peter’s lips, slicking them with his own salvia as the carriage pulled to a rough stop and one of the other bandits banged on the door.

They had arrived at their destination and Peter’s case of the shakes worsened considerably.

Smiling in the dim, the Outlaw slipped his digit briefly inside Peter’s mouth. “Next carriage ride, you will suck me while sitting pretty on your knees like this.”

Arousal was the immediate response, Peter’s mouth went slack and his cheeks flushed cherry as the Outlaw just chuckled and nudged him out of the carriage.

They’d stopped at a small inn one town over from Petrelli Manor. It was tiny and unobtrusive, but Peter recognized it well enough. He remembered being warned away, only ruffians stayed here.

“Leave one man with the spoils at all times. Take it in shifts; I don’t want anyone falling asleep on the job. I’ll be upstairs if there’s an emergency.” The Outlaw’s arm fit around Peter’s waist more comfortably than it had any right, but Peter didn’t protest, just allowed himself to be led inside.

The Innkeeper nodded and gave the Outlaw a gap toothed grin as they bypassed the front desk and went up the stairs. Some of the other bandits filed along behind only to faction off into different rooms on the landing.

The Outlaw drew Peter inside one of the unoccupied rooms, a small grin gracing his lips.

Going about the room, the Outlaw removed his heavy boots, tossed his mask to the chair. He shrugged away his jacket, then his shirt.

Peter swallowed his arousal and reminded himself, not for the first time since their initial contact only hours beforehand, that this man was the enemy, not a proper object for Peter’s lust.

The Outlaw dipped a cloth into water and began to scrub the grime of the road from his face, hands and chest, leaving him glistening and more magnificent than before.

“Come, Peter.”

After a brief hesitation, the Outlaw clucked his tongue and rolled his eyes. “You don’t want to go to bed covered in dust, do you? Come here so I can clean you off a bit.”

“I can do it myself.” Peter held out a hand for the rag, but instead the Outlaw used it to reel him closer.

“I’m sure you can, Peter. But maybe I just want an excuse to touch this stunning body of yours. Such a fine example of youth.”

Peter’s vest and shirt fell away and the cloth felt cool and clean on his skin. Unconsciously, he leaned into the Outlaw’s touch until they were just a hairsbreadth apart.

The kiss was slow and sensual, not at all what Peter expected from a brutal highwayman, but lovely all the same.

However, as fingers flitted to the clasp of his pants, letting them loose to falling around his hips, Peter jerked back from the kiss.

Blue eyes snapped to meet his own, more confused than anything else.

“Peter? Is something wrong?”

Stamping down the near hysterical laughter that pushed up his throat, Peter shook his head no as the Outlaw pushed more firmly against him, all the while pushing his knickers down further until they balled around his ankles.

“I just want to make you feel good, Peter. Today must have been difficult and unpleasant and I would like to make it up to you.” The Outlaw pressed kisses down Peter’s neck and forcibly lifted each foot to toe away both shoes.

“But don’t forget Peter, you owe me as well.” Hazel eyes snapped wide open. “That’s right, I took you away from that place. From those people that couldn’t, no wouldn’t appreciate you. You should be thankful.” His words were acid on Peter’s skin where his kisses were soft and comforting.

“Now finish undressing like the good little boy I know you can be.” The Outlaw gave him a pat on the ass to accompany his condescending words.

“Nathan, he appreciated me.” Peter said, even as he kicked away the remainder of his clothing and stood awkwardly, cupping his sex from the Outlaw’s view.

“Do you really think so, Peter?” The Outlaw raised a cool eyebrow. “If that was true, why didn’t he defend you tonight? Why isn’t he banging on that door right now, demanding your release? It’s not as if we’ve come terribly far. If he had followed, he would have caught up by now.”

Peter bit his lip as the Outlaw’s hands ran over his bare skin. Against his own desire, his cock filled in his hands and his breath hitched in his throat.

“Go kneel on the bed, forehead to the mattress.” The smooth sweeps of the Outlaw’s hands had Peter trembling as he moved clumsily into position.

Peter closed his eyes and willed the tears down as they threatened. Nathan cared, Peter knew that just as well as he knew his own name. Nothing that this bandit bastard said was going to change that.

He listened as the Outlaw moved about the room before there was a dip in the mattress as more weight was added.

A hot hand, slick with lubricant, ran down the exposed seam of his ass before pushing a single digit inside.

Peter cried out at the intrusion, his eyes flying open in shock at the violation. “They would never have treated you right. I will, Peter. I will show you unimaginable pleasure. You and I could have the world. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?”

Unable to stop himself, Peter moved with the fingers now stretching him wide and open, gasping into the coverlet. “I don’t even,” He moaned as the Outlaw added another finger and pushed further inside. “know your name.”

The Outlaw smiled dangerously as his digits brushed the small bundle of nerves inside Peter, making him pant against the sheets.

“Adam.”

The name whispered against Peter’s ears as he moved helplessly back against those fingers, Adam’s fingers.

“They would never have understood you, Peter.” Adam nuzzled the damp nape of Peter’s neck, kissed down the raised ridges of his spine as the fingers withdrew and Peter felt the hard push of something bigger.

“But I understand, I know you.” Adam pushed inside; filling Peter up and making him keen high and needy.

Peter burned as he stretched to accommodate Adam’s cock, but pleasure washed away the pain as the Outlaw began to move.

“We will do great things together, Peter, starting here and now.” Adam left words behind as his fingers clenched around Peter’s own fists, knotted up in the sheets.

They moved together in a swirl of pleasure. Peter’s gasps became louder and tears of ecstasy rose behind his eyes as the rapture thrumming through his veins like blood burned brighter, more insistent.

He came in a white haze, slumping to the sheets as Adam continued to use his body. One, two, three more thrusts and the Outlaw was cursing in Peter’s ear. Words of sin and devotion curled together like music as the wash of Adam’s spend filled Peter’s hole to brimming.

Tipping to the side, Adam coiled around Peter in a manner as protective as it was possessive. Peter allowed it, shifting also to hold Adam in place as they spooned together.

His new lover’s breath whispered hot across his ear as the heart beat at his back slowed to a steady, almost reassuring rhythm.

“I just know it, Peter. Together, you and I are meant for great things.”

Peter pushed further back into the embrace, comfort folding tight around his body as they cocooned into one. He closed his eyes for a sleepless night, almost able to accept Adam’s words as truth.
I'm still a little high off that new therapist smell. They always seem so shiny and clean at first.

Anyways, I come bearing an Inglorious Basterds promo! So far it looks like typical Quentin Tarantino. Big knives, lots of violence and guns.

<lj-embed id="15" />

Oh yes, yes, yes, yes. Killin' Natzis with Brad Pitt and Co.? Calling Hitler "Uncle Adolf"?? Hella yeah. I want to see this like burning and am also looking forward to the OST.
